I am eco-visionary, with a passion for mindfulness.  How we treat ourselves is how we treat our children, how we treat each other and how we treat the planet.

It’s simple, my goal is to inspire the world to go green, to win the race and save our home, earth.

We can do it, we just need to believe.   To believe, we need to have examples of what’s already in progress.

It’s a mindshift I hope to affect.  Hopefully, with Oprah’s help, I can inspire change faster…

Oprah, I believe
That the time has come
For the world to see
The limitless scope
Of imaginative green projects
Happening globally
To inspire our leaders
And industry alike
To be creative and resourceful
And on this earth
To tread light

If I reach for the moon
Oprah, here’s my ultimate dream
To be hired by you
As your correspondent of all projects green
And to travel abroad
Large scale and small
Let’s show them all!

Solar cookers feeding folk in India
Sustainability peaking in Dubai
Wind farms and eco towns
In places know and unknown
From Chicago’s ‘Greenest City’
To tree home in Costa Rica
And a refreshingly long list in between
I could certainly go on

So excited, am I
About all that I see
Because only a decade ago
While in university
It was all doom and gloom
Only devastation at hand
And professors declaring
“You have all the information
Now go out and fix this land”
With this great weight on our shoulders
The students just staring
Wide eyed and perplexed
Wondering just how the heck
This world could be fixed

For some time I did stop
With my green interventions
Chatting with all
Whether they were listening or not!
Revealing the nature
Of humanities destructive path
Hoping that folk
Would listen and react
But too busy were they
With this and that
And defeated I felt
So I held back

And it’s been a long time
But this year I found
A butterfly
S perspective
Something to hold on to
I can see transformation
On a super grand scale
And I strongly believe
That through these eyes
Others should see
Just how far we’ve come
And just how green we could be
To empower with knowledge
And spread muchos faith

We are not at the end
Only amidst divine change.
